  • Provided support to end users on a daily basis for the Empower Admissions system, and DMS POISE student information system.
  • Trained end users and implement new functionalities for the Oracle based Empower Admissions system.
  • Worked with vendors to implement and refine new data loads and extracts such as the Texas Common Application load and prospect loads from recruiting websites.
  • Provided faculty and staff with ad-hoc reports generated with Crystal Reports from Oracle, MS-SQL, and Mysql databases.
  • Aid all student services departments with day to day computer related support issues.
  • Trained users on Empower, POISE, and Early Alert systems.
  • Worked on special projects including web design, ad-hoc Crystal Reporting and surveys.
  • Worked on special project web applications interfaced with campus user authentication (LDAP) for tracking student sign in and time spent in study sessions, special event signups, etc.
  • Project manager for purchasing and implementation of new campus wide content management system to be used for external and internal University websites.

  • Participated in University advertising committee, and handling all University Internet advertising. Currently working toward native University mobile apps for the Iphone, Android devices and Blackberry. Mobile website utilizing the campus CMS will also be included.
  • Researched and implemented current University social media accounts.
  • Setup and administered Linux based server for Early Alert Application.
  • Developed batch procedures for exporting data from the UTPB student information system to other 3rd party web applications.
  • Developed recruiting information CD for mail-out to potential students. CD contains information about UTPB, as well as an electronic catalog.
