Here is a little about me.
I am a male in my early thirties (see what I did there, now I don’t have to update this page for years). By day I work as a programmer, mainly in web related technologies but I do work in all areas of the Information Technology spectrum.
I graduated high school in 1997, and began working in the IT field assembling workstations, servers, and performing network troubleshooting full time at a local computer shop while attending college. From there I was offered the opportunity to work for a local ISP as a web designer. I continued to work full time learning the tricks of the design trade while attending college at the local University. In 2002 I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, with a minor in Management. I was promoted to webmaster at the ISP and given responsibilities including server maintenance and administration. In the fall of 2004, I began working for the Texas Tech University Health Science Center as a programmer / analyst. In March 2006 I moved to a position at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin as an Information Support Specialist. I am currently working full-time at UTPB, as well as working on my Masters Degree in Computer Science. I have completed all the required course work, and I am currently working on my project to complete the degree. Graduation coming soon!
My work experience and history can be found on my resume.
Other than working with IT related items, I have an interest in motorcycles, cars, home remodeling, and landscaping. I run a website for local car guys called rowdyrides.com, as well as doing web design in my spare time. You can see my partial portfolio here, it isn’t a complete listing by any means.
